I think I heard you say that you picked up one analog channel. I assume that the TV has analog tuner also, does it ? It´s important to me because I want to buy it for use in México. Thank you, great review.

@Radiotarkus Yes the TV has an Analog Tuner Built in. the one I got did not come with the Antenna but New ones will or you can use basic rabbit ear antennas just fine. Thanks for the comment. Incidentally, I found that this model is sold under two or so different names so there are a few different models floating around the internet. they all do the same thing though. Thanks for the Comment!

Thank you for the review! I’ve been trying to find a portable tv to use while living in my school dormitory. I’ve heard positive things about this model, and this video made me decide to buy it. Can’t wait to try it out. I have an indoor antenna as well as digital cable in my room, so I shouldn’t have any problem receiving channels. Good video.

@wholewheatdumpling yeah the nice thing about it is that you can use the antenna that comes with it and get Digital Channels! that’s what I love about it. I also use it as a monitor for Videography so that is another cool thing about it.

I know the Haier 7″ totally blows, I bet this is the same, looks like they are both made by the same slave labor…
What I hate most is the fragile signal, can’t even walk with it…

@zzx464 There was really no need for me to Set-Up anything. you may try and play with the settings… I am not sure by your comment what is the problem with your TV.. Please Clarify.

@zzx464 As always, if you have an atsc tv, then you must be in an area covered by an atsc signal. Then you should use the “auto scan” function from that TV to automatically recognize and tune the TV to the right frequencies (I think that there is some kind of multiplexing with atsc like DVB does, so you should have more than 1 channel per frequency…)

done all that auto scan does nothing…all I get is no database..jim
